The warmth of a fire, the light from a lamp, and the company of good folks. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...probably because that's pretty much all it is about. Family, friends and the gathering to talk, eat, and drink. I wish I could see all my brothers for this one, but that will happen soon enough. Cheers, Thanksgiving. Thanks for being such a great holiday!
EDIT: I Added an 8tracks mix (below) just 'cause I can...it has no relation to the blog-entry, but I have been listening to alot of country music lately. Comfort-Music, I guess. Oh well, enjoy.
I'm just running through a few rolls of film to test a new camera and scanner, and get used to the new routine of process/scan/post. Nothing great about the picture, but I just liked the blue window. I posted the same thing a few posts below taken with my point-and-shoot digital. I'm just comparing for myself...nothing to see here...stay away from the line...
Wait...hang on a second...the blues in this photo look strangely similar to the Cut & Paste Card Show logo in the post below...which reminds me, you should really take the time to visit that website and enter a handmade card in the comp...it will be fun. They are due Dec. 1st, so get the fingers cracking, and make some card-goodness. It will be a fun night, and the proceeds go to good people. Link again:
AIGA Knoxville is hosting a HANDMADE Holiday Card Competition, so get out your scissors and glue...step away from the computer and get to making some cards. Entries are Due to the AIGA mailbox by December 1st, so don't let time pass you by. All proceeds from the show will go to support Local Artists, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Downtown North Association. Details and entry forms can be found online at the link below:
