75-percenter...

phone pole | Louisville, KY | May 2009

I've gotten behind on a lot of things lately...one of those things being getting my shots from Louisville together to send to my friend lawson...we have plans to combine our efforts in a little collection of our weekend in Kentucky this past May. I've also been light on blogging, light on processing and scanning film. I've been light on getting things done at home, at work, and in completing projects in general. I haven't seen friends as much as I should. Now, don't get me wrong. I have been very busy, and have gotten alot of unexpected things finished...so I don't feel completely out of sorts, but perhaps this half-painted pole symbolizes more than I realized at the time...do I gravitate to things that are almost complete? Am I a dreaded 75-percenter? Sometimes. Guilty. I am determined to make that pattern dissolve into a new pattern of getting things done when they should be...making things happen. So with that, I'll get off the computer and go get something done.

I have a couple of beers that need to be consumed. 100%. Think you could help me with that?

I have trouble believing that the pole is unfinished. I have a feeling that it living up to precisely what it was meant to be. In fact, I feel the same about us. The work gets done in the time and fashion that it was meant to.
