This motel is a small part of a much larger, more long term project, and as my friend Lawson and I were driving around South Knoxville this past weekend we stopped by to have a look. They were selling a bunch of the old furniture out front, and bringing in new lamps and tables. The old motel was seeing a round of something new. Getting a new coat of paint. Gussying up for a fresh start. It wasn't lost on me that both Lawson and I are doing a bit of the same. Each having new and exciting chapters. Our own new lamps and new paint. A bunch of Awesomeness to come. I can't speak for anyone else, but I must say that I'm pretty excited about it all !
